Eco-Bhakti Certificate

Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation has launched the unique campaign Eco-Bhakti Sambrama to create awareness among citizens about sustainable celebrations. Every year, the twin cities generate nearly 100 tons of additional waste during the festival, and lake pollution increases drastically after Ganapati Visarjan.

This campaign urges citizens to pledge their support by choosing clay (POP-free) Ganapati idols and adopting eco-friendly visarjan at home, such as immersing idols in a bucket of water. By celebrating responsibly, we protect our lakes, reduce pollution, and honor Ganapati with true devotion.
